11. Good Governance Surveys

The learning event will take the form of a seminar during which the findings of Good Governance Surveys recently conducted in Nkangala District Municipality (Mpumalanga) and Cacadu District Municipality (Eastern Cape) will be presented. Peter Kimemia will present the findings of the Nkangala survey while Mike Bendle will present those of Cacadu DM’s. The objective of the event is to share the said findings with partner organisations within the GGLN and to discuss ways in which the GGLN could possibly engage with the DPLG around the findings. It will also afford GGLN members an opportunity to understand the methodology used and hopefully gather ideas on how the surveys can be enriched to serve their intended purposes more effectively and efficiently.
